Save a Life At 24 years old, I saved the life of a senior citizen at an evening Christmas dinner that I was attending.
He collapsed “into” his meal and stopped breathing, I used C.P.R. (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) to keep him alive until the emergency services arrived.
There were about 140 other people attending this dinner and no other person had the ability to help or do anything for this person. The following day he was allowed to leave the hospital.
He went on to have a good Christmas with his relatives.
Since then I have gone on to save the lives of a good few more, mainly by giving training to others.
It is very hard to better the feeling of having the ability to save a life and giving others the ability and to have this same feeling.
I am very glad that I was taught how to save a life . . . how about you?
It is simple to get the ability and the feeling.
