Annual refresher training is still strongly recommended by HSE. The practical element of actual FAW and EFAW are delivered face to face so that competency can be properly assessed during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
All of our courses at this time, are for a maximum of six candidates at a time instead of the usual 12, to help maintain a Covid-19 safe area and atmosphere. Parts of the practical assessment have changed slightly to comply with this.
Everyone keeps looking at the news and we are all aware of the current situation in our hospitals. Please consider everything that you do and remember that 999 is for emergencies only. If you need assistance use 111 first for information.
Give us a call to help you with one of your New Year Resolutions. This could be for yourself and/or to help others. Some of our courses are for the home environment and others are for business and are mandatory. Either is good to take the pressure off the NHS.
