This month’s information page is repeated from April as it is still highly relevant and we must still follow all advice.
One thing that I must mention with this article is the people that believe that the speed limits do not apply to them.
People are out walking, jogging and cycling, children are out walking and cycling, other motorists are out working, shopping, looking after the elderly. These people are spending some of their time on the roads either crossing or exercising, observing social distancing. Someone moving at excessive speed is more likely to cause a very serious accident and more likely to kill. The emergency services have enough to do. The speed limits are there for a reason, please respect them and other people.
This month’s page is probably the most important page placed on this site. Please read it and act on it in all the areas. It's for the benefit of all of us.
Importantly, social gathering is out, if someone asks you to go out for a coffee or a drink say NO! Be the sensible one. If you are still going out to work be careful. If you are in one of the essential occupations be careful and thank you.
Please read the following information, it is taken directly from the NHS information site.
