We all know about the latest, increased restrictions placed on us all because of the increase in the number of people contracting the Covid-19 virus.
We also know that some of the people were trying to return to their place of work and many are working and their work can not be done at home.
Through all of this, work safety should be high on the agenda, First Aid in the workplace is still relevant.
The sentence below is taken from an online publication from HSE called “First aid during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak”. The whole article is worth reading.
Requalification Training in England “The first aid training industry in England is confident that enough courses will now be available for all required requalification training to take place. HSE has therefore agreed a final deadline for requalifications of 30 September 2020”.
There are also exemptions for groups larger than six for “Education and Training” and “Workplaces”. The whole article for this is available at bbc.co.uk/news.
For as much safety as possible our Courses, up to the end of the year at least, are for no more than six candidates per class or multiples of six at your place of work and are conducted incorporating Covid-19 safe practices.
During this difficult time it is still imperative that all who are working have the confidence that all are as safe as possible at their place of work. Please remember that “first aid at work” incorporates the self-employed and for those with less than five employees.
